Figma text translation: your options
There is no single "best" approach—only what matches team size, budget, and how close you are to production.
1. Manual: copy to a translator, paste back
Works for one-off files and tiny teams. It is slow, error-prone, and you lose in-context line breaks. Fine for a single hero draft; painful for a whole design system.
2. Spreadsheets or a TMS (CAT tools, Lokalise, Phrase, …)
Great when engineering owns keys and you need memory, review roles, and exports to code. The gap is that design still needs to preview copy in Figma. Teams often use TMS for production strings and a plugin for early visual exploration.
3. In-Figma AI translation (FigmaTranslator)
